Granny's bicarbonate of soda is a non-scratch all-purpose household cleaner which will produce fantastic results all around the home and office. It will provide a powerful cleaning action on appliances and surfaces as well as deodorising at the same time.
Bicarbonate of soda can be used for cleaning and eliminating grease and other stubborn stains such as brunt and dried on foods, grease and fats. Simply shake onto the problem area, add hot water, leave to work and wipe clean with a cloth. It is safe to use on appliances including fridges and stainless-steel appliances.
For deodorising carpets and upholstery, sprinkle onto the surface and leave for one hour or preferably overnight, vacuum up excess powder. Always test on a small area first.
For freshening plug holes, pour a couple of teaspoons of powder down the plughole and add an equal amount of white vinegar, leave to work for around 10 minutes and flush with hot water.
